About Me
my first instrument was a sax at age 11 ! (school band) next was a bass guitar,age 12,but i first got introduced to a drum kit at age 14.i didn't get one of my own until i was twenty something,doesn't mean i didn't play my youger brothers kit though.we were in a rock band in the '80's like most of us were then. i played bass and lead guitar, and played my brother's drums behind his back.he hated that! he finally let me borrow them after high school when we moved out.after i got good at the skins, he took them back. he didn't want me to be better than him on his own kit i guess. by this time i was into jazz fusion in the '90's and got a hold of an old slingerland kit.then after a few years,i got back into rock and got a new yamaha kit.

here in winter park florida it was metal night.the guys who took first and runner up had wicked fast foot work!

ya dude. I went tonight. Very competitive. Last year was one of those where you just look at the floor and shake your head. It was crap. This year was a complete reversal. I'm doing the finals oct 3rd in Manchester, CT. Every situation is unique and it depends a lot on what the judges prefer too. Don't just play one style and tempo. Mix it up and show variety man.

well, to tell you the truth today has been a great day......went for a run in the rain, went and got some fish food for my stepsons Beta and beat on my drums for about an hour and finally, i had a good dinner that i prepared all by myself....my wife would be proud.....so a good day....how 'bout you?
