  Oh I'm glad you gave it a try and you'll gain some experience and know what to expect for next year. I'm glad you had a good time ,, I know I had a great time. Gosh 3 of the guys played a battle of the drums for fun after it was all over ,, it was amasing.. I was in awwww..
  I sure like it. I'm enjoying it and doing the practice i need no matter how many times I go over it .. and always start with a lot of just stick work,, and para diddles.. I'm just a beginner but ,, have loved drums all my life and should have been allowed to learn them when I was young like I wanted to. Oh well ,, no one can tell me not to now...Keep in touch I'm always interested in others experiences. My nephew plays in a band and plays the bass and guitar , his drummer and I talk online at least once a week. he laughs at me and some of my questions but said he like my attitude of wanting to play them..They are all young 12 to 14 yrs old and played in two big battle of the bands so far last year. They got paid to play somewhere from someone that was at the battle of the bands. It was in Toronto ,, and its just about he size of New York..
  Its all about love of music and something about hitting them heads is soooo stress releaving for me at my age...LOL
  Anyhow hope to hear from you again sometime and maybe get to hear you play some day.. Have a good week Kevan and keep smiling.. If anyone gets to you at school ,, just picture you tying them up to the drumset and practicing some para diddles on their head.   Hey there Kev.. how goes it.. I'm one of the drumoff community older friends. How has the drumoff been in your neck of the woods? Ours here have been awsome. I love it and have seen some good stuff. There was a 16 yr old playing here today and he has only started 3 years ago. He did well. He has a good future and chance to get more experience , every time he enters some drumoffs or other talent contests. Anyhow just wanted to say hi,, I've been working such long days and haven't been on much lately. So I'm saying hi to all of the drumoff friends online..   Hey Kevan, thanks for the invite. I wish you well in the drumoff. Whatever path you take in drumming, don't limit yourself to just one style at this stage. Try some differnt types of music as well as metal and remember, you are a MUSICIAN! Anybody can swing lumber, it takes talent to make those things sound musical. Good luck!!
