  For the past three years I've hade to attempt to switch a right handed kit to a lefty set-up within the allotted (5) minutes. It is very stressful, and then you have to calm down to play. None of the store managers seem to understand that more is involved than just switching the toms around. You develop crazy angle issues with for example; the high-hat base and the suspended floor tom with its attached ride cymbal.

  I had to twist like crazy to reach the ride.

  Do you foresee the Drum-off attempting to accommodate “Lefties” as much as it does the right handed drummer??? I know we are rare, but we do exist!!!

  Why do you have to be 16 years old or older to play? I'm 10 years old and I think I should have the opportunity to compete. If you want, I'll submit a video to help you decide.
